One of my personal all-time favourite macOS wallpapers from the "new" era is the Big Sur wave wallpaper. I was staring at it on my desktop when I decided to make a wave-gradient style wallpaper similar to it, and out popped this fierce flow of lava.

Various shades of orange, yellow, pink, purple and blue were used in creating this wallpaper, one small addition at a time.
